Retrieving image DAT files from a photo slide show

Hello: Some time ago I made a photo slide show using Roxio 6 During the process, the Roxio program converted my photos into images called DAT files. I used CD-R disc to make the slide show.

I would be very appreciative if anyone could tell me how to retrieve the 140 photos from the disc (they seem to be in the SEGMENT folder) and convert them back to the original jpeg format. The original photos were lost when my hard drive crashed last year.

You can try open the .dat file in virtualdub and save as images(file->save as image sequence). But you wont get back the original image quality because vcd/svcd photoslide show is just in 720x480/576 frame size.
