PAL to NTSC..FAVSC doesn't work anymore and BeSweet Doesn't give me some options...

What is the Easiest way to convert the AVI file from PAL to NTSC without loosing quality...

Please help...I don't get this option anymore...Select the format
you want(PCM(Wave / AIFF) or mp3) in the output. it doesn't give me that option...

Here is the tutorial that only worked ONCE...but Now I can't get it to work...I have a Ton of AVI's in PAL Format that need to be converted to 23.976...

I don't like things to be to complicated just easy with excellent results.

here is the link to the tutorial I was using before BeSweetGUI Started acting up...FAVSC just stopped working I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck..

Why would you want to be able to select MP3? You do realize it creates DVD files?

For DVD? There's nothing wrong with keeping them 25fps and using DGPulldown to have it output 29.97fps for NTSC DVD. I don't use it so I don't know for sure if that's the only option in FAVC, but your post raises enough red flags that one wonders if you understand DVD structure and FAVC.

I don't see any link to any tutorial.

  5. Have you tried any other movies with FAVC? Or only just this one? The reason I ask is that there could be something corrupt with this one and a different one might work fine. My suggestion would be to try with a different movie before assuming that it's something with FAVC that's gone wrong. My own assumption, without knowing much of anything about the details, would be that you downloaded garbage from the Internet. I could easily be wrong, though.

you're definitely right, as less you touch the audio, less A/V sync issues you get, mostly between region conversions

what I don't understand is how people can't buy a good DivX player, there is very cheap and good players out there

since I bought mine I never did a single conversion, I have a Pioneer DV-470 with MTZ modified firmware

Or you can buy VSO which is only 40$ ... 35 euros ? it does very well the job

My opinion is, buy a good player, there is even good players for MKV playback

Your .NET framework is definitely corrupted, it has broken links in your System Registry

Before anything else you must totally remove .NET 2.0 from your PC

Try to remove it in ADD/REMOVE programs in Control Panel

If it isn't listed in there you must do it manually

Follow this tutorial for manual removal :

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/320112/

    or google for

    framework manual uninstall
