I'm getting an upconvert dvd player (LG DN798) and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with connecting it to their iMac and capturing the upconverted signal.
Is this possible or is there any way of doing this?
Is is possible to connect the upconvert dvd player via component to a standard dvd recorder and record in an upconverted signal?
Hope I made this as clear as possibe.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

Why not just play the DVD on the Mac and let the Mac display card handle the upconversion to your monitor?
