  1. Hai to everybody

I am having some FLAC format songs. The quality seems to be good but the volume is low. How to increase the volume in FLAC file without quality loss. Is there any software to do that.

    Thanks

FLAC is lossless, so you can happily decompress to wav, increase volume (Audacity) and reencode as FLAC again, without worrying about any quality loss.

Goldwave supports FLAC, & will easily do the job for you. I've been using GW since my Win95 days, & as a registered user, I've been getting free upgrades since then...for NO extra money. I know Audacity is a great program; it's free, open-source, & does a hell of a job, but Goldwave is far superior, IMHO.

Flac is lossless, Audacity or goldwave will be satisfactory.

  5. FLAC supports Replay Gain. See the link for players that support Replay Gain. The advantage is that the original audio is not altered so there is there is no loss of quality at all.
