    Is there a way to transfer from DirecTV DVR to your PC? With a Replay TV DVR and a program called DVArchive you can transfer (or stream, I guess) to your PCs hard-drive through an Ethernet connection. DirecTV has a couple of DVRs (HR21-200 and HR21-700) that have an Ethernet connection. DirecTV has recently purchased Replay Tv. Does anyone know a way of of transferring from the DirecTV DVR hard-drive to the PCs hard-drive?

    Their DVR's have had issues since their split from Tivo. Their purchase of Replay TV is likely an attempt at upgrading their hardware/software.

    Ethernet is not likely. I would suggest checking out FIREWIRE for transferring. Check the web (yahoo or google) for your model number and the term "firewire".
