joining together 2 sets of .srt files, which tool?

I have a two hour movie in japanese in avi format (divx) as one file (850mb)

I have managed to locate the english subs for it, I could only find it in 2 cds, so 2 srt files.

srt 1 is from 00'00'00 to 00'59'00
srt 2 is from 01'00'00 to 02'01'00

is there a tool that you know of that will let me join two srt files together, i dont mind retiming the subs if they are slightly off.

I can load srt1 in to divx media subtitler but i cant find a way to append the srt2 file in this program. I can load srt 2 in to media subtitler and retime the file but its a pain and i would need srt 1 in first.
