I have a Ricoh Caplio R7 digital camera. The video format it uses is AVI, but not a normal avi file. The audio (according to Windows) is "CCITT u-law", and when I try to convert it to Xvid with AutoGK it won't do it as it cannot read the audio type. When I play back in MEdia Player or VLC it plays back ok, but there is a whirring noise in the background, presumably because it's not reading the audio properly.
Does anyone know a way of converting these to MP4, or at least to normal AVI files?
Thanks
Matt
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
