Is there a way to remove watermarks from downloaded video files?

like files that have links to the websites on the video,can i remove them an have it like normal or am i stuck with these watermarks?

No way to remove it, no.

But the results are usually less than inspiring.

You can either crop them out completely, cover them with black bars, or try to remove them using something like LogoAway. Any way will alter the video quality though.
