Joint stereo is no problem. Your problem is that you only got one of the audio tracks over to the AVI. Few converters support multi audio tracks sources.

    Thank you for your answer,
What should it be your advice about the converter.
I have about 200 avi files with ogg audio encoding, I want to convert them by just choosing the french audio channel and keeping the stereo.
My dvd-player seems to have problems with ogg encoding.

You could also use AviReComp, as that app seems to handle multi audio stream sources.
    But:
Load the AVI in VirtualDubMod. Disable the audio you don't want in the stream list. Save out new version, using direct stream copy for both audio and video. You'll then have a single audio stream AVI that you can run thru alltoavi.
Or better yet - Ditch alltoavi:
    Install the lame acm codec.
Do as above, but instead of using direct stream copy for both audio and video, just use direct stream for video, and change the audio codec for your remaining audio track to Lame MP3 and save. Done. This is a better way, as it in contrast to alltoavi/AviReComp does not reencode the video (losing video quality).

    Thank you,
But it seems to be very long to proceed.
I agree that it also give a better quality.
Instead, I found avidemux. It's supposed to do what I need.
I used Video copy and Audio MP3 (lame), I'm not sure but it seems that the video looses quality by changing the bitrate to a little lower.
I just tried with one file. I will do for another to check.

Avidemux does the same thing, yes. You can tell it to keep the video as is, as long as you don't specify a video codec. IIRC it defaults to what in VirtualDub vocabulary would translate to "Direct Stream Copy".
There are many ways to skin a cat!
