I want to capture audio+video from IP camera and save it in one MPEG2 file
    IP camera produce ...:
    - video in M-JPEG format
    - audio in G.711 PCM or in G.726 ADPCM formats

I try VLC media player to do it, it works Ok for video capturing,
but I don't know how can I capture audio in that case.

How can I capture both audio and video, transcode and save in single MPEG2 file?

Thank you for help // sorry for poor english, I'm doing my best =)
Sorry for my awfull ENGLISH =|

guns1inger, I want to do it in real time, I cannot save audio and video separately and multiplex these later.

Baldrick, no, I cannot. But it is obviously, because I open M-JPEG stream only, it does not include audio.

I've just found out that Axis 207 IP camera may produce MPEG4.
Can anybody say me something about it? Does it include audio?

mpeg4 is just a video compression format. MP4 is a container that may contain video and audio.

If you have set everything up correctly through the AMC control panel, you should be able to stream mpeg4 from rtsp://<ip>/mpeg4/media.amp (insert your IP address, naturally).

Also, the manual seems to indicate you cannot set the volume levels through the AMC control panel, but only through the web page for the camera.
