I wasn't sure what category this problem would fall into, but here goes. Just lately (say the last couple of weeks or so) the files containing movies I downloaded have been doing something really weird in the directory folder. Okay, so a movie finishes downloading and I have a directory folder that they all go into when they're done, right? Well, I mostly dl avi's and use the DivX player to burn with. When I import movies into DivX, the movie file itself is removing itself from the parent folder (like its copied itself or something) except that now the initial parent movie folder is empty. So now, if I don't take the actual avi file and manually move it back into its folder, DivX says the "destination file already exists" and will remove it from their library so I can't burn it. Also, some of the movies are entering the dl folder on my desktop without a main folder, just the avi file, so I have to make a new folder with the name of the movie and put the avi in it for DivX to import it. It's all really weird and confusing, I hope someone understands what I am describing and can help. Thanks for any info.

  2. No help can be provided for illegally downloaded materials.

These "movies" that you download- are these legal? Please confirm that and satisfy the mods, otherwise tis thread will be closed in no time.

  4. Way to freak out over a simple question (are the video files legal), despite claiming that you're doing nothing illegal..

To be fair to src2206, all of ouiglz posts have been about downloaded movies, and the types of questions tend to imply that these are illegal downloads.

Also, what do you (ouiglz) care what someone "I DON'T EVEN KNOW" posts?

    Good riddance, I say.

  6. But he is asking for help from someone whom obviously he "does not know"...
not to mention the unnecessary rudeness expressed in his post (all caps)

  7. That just cracks me up...."Give me help with my illegally downloaded, copyrighted content." "Uh, that's against the rules, pal." "HOW DARE YOU!" lololol...evidently, it's fine to ask "strangers" for help, but it's intolerable for the guy to follow the rules. (Rules which, whether he agrees with them or not, he's agreed to follow as part of the forum registration process.) What a dipsh*t.
