  1. I'm trying to backup one of my bluray movies converted into mkv.
    Sofar i've got the entire contents of the BD onto my HDD via AnyDVD.
    Are there any guides for getting these files (Presumably the .ts) into mkv format (Possibly with x264 codec)?

    Note that recent BluRay releases such as The Simpsons Movie and Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End, use a new type of copy protection called BD+. Although these discs can be ripped, you can't do anything with the ripped contents except watch them. Nobody has figured out a way to frame serve these rips to an encoder, so these films cannot currently be converted to any other formats.
