I am having the same problem. When I open ImageGrabber II, and attempt to open a video file, the error I receive is:

    Class not registered

The link provided above does not solve the problem. I have installed the latest codec pack by K-lite, have downloaded the latest version I could find of DirectX.

    My system specs are:
    Intel 450mhz
    Voodoo 3 16mb video card
    192mb RAM
    Windows XP

    Does anyone have a solution?

  4. Hi Pals....an issue that works for me with that erros is because I havn't installed the Windows Media Player (because I use a codec pack with Media Player Classic), so there was missing items and classes in my system.

I was having that error in Subtitle Tool (old but I love it!)

Try reinstalling windows media player features and see what happened.

Do you think they are still having that problem 6 years later?

  6. This kind of error is common by many reasons and I deal with that for many years with different programs, so, sharing one of the solutions may help. (I read many forums with a variety of solutions and no one mention this.)
