I use Ulead VideoStudio 9 when making DVD's taken from my old VHS tapes. I have been using it for a number of years now. I create the Video_TS files and then compress with with DVD shrink and have been burning with DVD decrypter. This has worked out perfect for the longest time.

My problem is just recently, I would compile a Video_TS file and open with DVD shrink. At that point I would encounter the error. When I open the folder ready to burn I am greeted with a message " Invalid Data in File" followed by th path to said data.

This is driving me crazy, I do not know what would cause this. Please help!

Why don't you compress so it fits on one dvdr directly with Ulead VideoStudio? Reconverting/transcoding twice is not recommended.

But if you still want to use this method maybe you can try run fixvts on the video_ts folder and see if dvdshrink opens the dvd.
