when creating a dvd project in Nero 4 with MPEG Video files, I encounter a problem whereby the audio sounds like it has been sped up (x2). the video plays fine. I am using video files that were created/recorded on my Sony SR40e Hdd camcorder. after many long hours I have reverted to admitting defeat and am asking for help. I have d/l Gspot and be sweet and CCE SP and virtual dub, but haven't the foggiest idea about how to make them do the work. I hope you can help me....

Try something else than nero, Tmpgenc dvd author, ulead dvd moviefactory or if you don't need any editing or fancy menus you can use free tools like favc, dvd flick.

Well seeing as it's the audio that's giving you problems what does your camera produced file use? This is where GSpot comes in. Run it through and see what it says for audio.

Do your originals play correctly in Media Player? Seeing as you have Nero does Showtime play your files? You can enable the OSD under Options-> Show additional info. It will show your audio and video particulars.
