    Bought a Toshiba HD player. Now I'm looking for a Bluray player as well.
    Searched the posts and couldn't find much. Questions I have are what brand,
    and what model. and why?

    Also anything new on the horizon within the next few months for Bluray players?

    If you can, it would probably be a good idea to wait a while. I suspect the competition will heat up now that BlueRay is gaining more momentum. The player manufacturers will start to ramp up product releases and production which will lead to more competition - and lower prices.
