Sanyo Xacti HD1000

Hi,

I live in Germany (PAL-Land). Is it very difficult to convert the video files of the Xacti HD1000 (adjustable are 60i, 60p or 30p) to PAL-DVD (50p, 50i or 25p)? Will motion have a smooth look? I use the Sony Vegas 7 software and think about getting the Xacti HD1000. What do you think about this unit in general?

Did you get any response on this?> I am interested in the Xacti HD1A, but gather it doesn't do "real" PAL, so a DVD will either be low res (NTSC) or choppy (25/30 frames).

I don;t know about how is converting HD from PAL-NTSC...I didn;t do it yet, but for regular SD I use Procoder Canopus and is almost perfect, the best you can get on a home pc.
