some vcds , due to its prolonged use, have some portions of bad video frames due to scratch or some other reasons. when we copy the dat file , sometimes the copying process comes to a standstill due to this,. or even if we could manage to get the file copied ,when we take it to the dvd author , problem arises.
is there any software which will find out these kind of bad video frames from vcds and remove those parts so that i get pure video frames for encoding as dvd?
    thanks
