NEEDED - Unlock Region Code for Samsung DVD-R160

Hi..
I got a Samsung DVD Recorder (DVD R-160) from US (which has Region Code-1)..
I want to play the DVDs in India..
Could you please help me out to unlock it for multi-region..

Even if 160 isn't listed, 155 is. Tried any/all of these suggestions: http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks/sa...s-version/8192 ?
Then comes the TV system issue: US is NTSC, India PAL. NTSC equipment usually won't play PAL (something a hack can't cure).

Although many DVD players sold in the USA are able to play PAL DVDs and convert between PAL and NTSC, all can't do this. Mats is right that even if you are able to unlock this player, you may have playback issues if this player can't output a PAL signal or your TV can't accept NTSC video input.

Also note that all DVD players can't be unlocked. If your player can't be unlocked, then there is nothing you can do about it. Try the suggestions for the DVD R-155 model and maybe you will get lucky.
