    Hello all,
    I have some AVI video files that I need to convert into WMV files for my client.
    Does anyone know of the fastest one out there that is free or has a free trial so I can at least test it before purchasing? Thanks!

    Have you tried Windows Movie Maker or Windows Media Encoder? free but maybe not the fastest encoders.

    avs4you Has alot of decent software I found works great for me. They do have a free trial, it does have a watermark, but access is on sale right now.
