Trying to put this desktop together, and I wanted to know if I'll have problems trying to install an ide dvd burner with a sata harddrive? In my diagram that comes with the dvd drive, they have both the dvd drive and the harddrive connected to the motherboard via an IDE cable? Should I be setting the DVD Driver as cable select, slave, or master. Thx very much!

how many ide connections do you have on the motherboard? if you only have 1 then just connect the dvd burner to it and set to master. also set the jumper to master on the dvd burner. as for the sata hard drive it should be connected to the sata connector on the motherboard. there should be no problems as the ide dvd burner and sata hard drive will not be connected together on a cable.
