I am playing some audio files in wmv format. They play fine in my car but if you turn the car off, the file that was playing starts over. Is there a way to remaster the disk in a way that can prevent this from happening?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

I guessing you mean WMA as WMV is a video format. What you want is more a function of the player. If you shut it off, then it apparently loses it's place and starts over. I don't think there is anything you can do with the file to prevent that.
But others may have better information.
And you already asked this question once. And that is enough. Continue in: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic341556.html#1782349
