Softwares which deals with .sup and .sup.IFO files

Hello all,
I'm trying to use .sup and .sup.IFO files to subtitle a movie (presently mpeg from EyeTV recordings, demuxed by ProjectX). I just need to be able to read the subtiles on top of the video, either adding it to DVD VIDEO_TS folder or directly encrust in a divx avi.
Converting these files to .str format will also help me.

Any help on finding Mac softwares which can handle these file format will be welcome.

Don't know if it will, but have you tried TitleLab?

Thank you for the idea, I just test TitleLab but it does not recognize my sup files. It works great on str subtitles files.

yes I use it to make .srt subs into DVD Studio Pro Compatible .stl
files all the time. It's the most robust subtitling program on the mac side, thought it might be worth a shot. sorry.

Do you mean DVDSP is able to convert my .sup file into .str one ?

No.
The files must be in .STL format for import into DVDSP.
DVDSP will not use .sup files, nor does it convert sub streams
into its .stl format. The files need to be in .stl format to use in
DVDSP.

Ok Terry, I got it.
I mistaked .srt and .STL (that I never heard about)

No way to use these .sup files ! On Macintosh I mean.
I will have to look on the dark side of computeurs : gotta see what PC soft can do the job.

One other trick I use, when there aren't convertable
subs attached to a movie that I need, but that are playable
and watchable in say VLC, is to Play the movie in VLC
with the subs on, and then make iShowU "hijack" the movie
as it plays in realtime to a DV Stream file.

This way, I have the movie, with the subs "burned in",
in a DV Stream that I can drag and drop into FCP or iMovie,
edit as necessary, and then burn to DVD.

I don't have to do this often, only for movies in which I can't google
and find the subs ( in .srt format) for. It does require a bit of HD space to do so also.

Didn't know we could hijack also the video!
If I did not find a solution I'll try it, as VLC can read my mpeg and subtiltes.
