    I followed the instructions. Did 1 2 and wont pass the FIle Selection box.

    Please help.

    Is there any way I can edit the dv file without converting into anything? Originally I edited it uisng iMovie (at school). I dont have a MAC at home. Im using Windows XP. I tried editing it in Windows Movie Maker and it doesnt work.

    WMM (even if it's buggy) should work. In what way doesn't it work for you?

    If by DV file you mean Mac *.dv format, you first need to convert to *.avi format in Quicktime Pro either on the Mac or on the PC. Or, you can save to a camcorder and reimport.
