    And the second question : is it usually when manufacturers (like PHILIPS) made DVD Writers whose write on DVD+R DL but DVD Players (like Philips DCP750/850) don't play that kind of DVD disc ?

    How are you trying to play the video?

    Most current DVD players will play DVD+R DL media, there are a few exceptions. The most common problems are burning related.
