Hi all. I am making a cd for my mates daughter to use in her dance class.
Two of the songs needed to be shortened to 2 mins. I did this using nero wave editor. The third song cant just be shortened because the bit where it would ideally end is just short of 2 mins. So i have cut it down to the right end part of the song. I just need to "stretch it out a bit" so it is exactly 2 mins. Any clues? Can I do this with Nero wave editor? or could one of you clever blokes do it for me then email me the finished article?
Sorry for being a numpty! Also she needs it by tomorrow (.

I tried it with Audacity. Add the Lame MP3 codec to output MP3 from the program.
Drop the file into Audacity.
Under 'Edit>Select All'.
Under 'Effect>Change Tempo'. I stretched it to 119 seconds or 4.8%.
Then 'Effect>Change Pitch', increased the pitch by 4.8%.
Saved out under 'File>Export as MP3'. It will ask the location of the Lame enc.dll the first time you use it.
But you may have figured this out already. (If I did it correctly, that is. But it sounded OK to me.)
