this will include cropping and or padding to achive
I would like to convert some video to 400*240 pixel res 5:3 aspect ratio
final format to be mp4 or 3gp,
if i have to convert to an intermediate format, OK
super goes all around that value but does not have it. 352*240 is the close as it gets
but it does have a 'nochange option' for MP4 res
if i can convert & crop avi to 400*240 , perhaps I can use super to create 400*240 mp4's
I want to try and use the MAX res of my new portable video player / phone the LG Voyager
this more of custom question than portable question, and also the portable forum gets very little action
what program will let be convert my xvid-dvx avi's to a custom res
thanks

Vdub is great product, but i've always seem to have problems with it, or maybe it was just problem files, that i tried it on
i'll check out ripbot264
i went digging in super and found an optional custom settings mode to fiddle with , and see what the results are
I forgot to mention, its absolutely necessary the final product be MPEG4 codec not 264
