    There is this program for PCs called "DVD author" and what I like most about it is that it is able to create a very long DVD without using double layers. I want to find something for mac that will do the same. Does anyone know of one?

    There is no magic software to do what you want. Video bitrate and resolution must be dropped, and it'll look like crap in the process.

    VisualHub also touts the fact is can make an 18hour DVD-5.
    but as Smurfy said, it adjusts the bitrate and resolution,
    to where the video is barely watchable. The same thing can be
    done in FCP Studio, using FCP and DVD Studio Pro.
