Cant Live Playback with sound from DV Cam into PC via firewire.

When I connect a DV Cam to windows PC via firewire a video input pin is created that let you capture the streamed audio/video video into a file...

... but what I need is to live playback from the DV Cam via firewire in my PC using a videoplayer that support capture device as video source much like playing analog audio/video from a capture card, what happens is that when I choose my DV Cam as video source I just can playback video with no sound from the firewire because an audio input pin is never created.

Is there a way to create that audio input pin so I can playback from firewire into a videoplayer that support capture devices as source without first needing to capture the video into a file and later play? much like the solution provided for RiverPlast PlayDV.

I'd use PlayDV but it lacks features found in other players like Mplayer Classic.

what I need is that solution to live playback firewire video with sound from my DV Cam into a secondary monitor full screen in overlay mode, for that I use WinAmpTV plugin but the sound thing keeps me frustrated.

I'm sure there are many people that have the same problem just want to playback from the DV Cam in any player but cant get a way to route the dv audio to the soundcard.

Any suggesting would be highly aprreciated, thanks

You can use AMcap to playback video and audio from a camera live or tape.

The video and audio will be about a 1 sec delay from the camera.

That's the weird thing about AmCap, I checked every parameter on the program and I cant make audio get out from the firewire cam (live), I repeat, I cant see any audio filter that originates from the DV camera, so it somewhat makes sense, but, if I do try to start capture, sound begin to be played on speakers, if I stop capture, sound goes off... that's just what I want, video+audio live without starting capture; I've been googling and I see many people trying to figure it, it seems somewhat MS DV direcshow filter locks audio when no capturing, so any aditional ideas about this matter?, maybe another directshow filters, dunno, I'll keep investigating, any suggestion is highly appreciated, thanks.
