  1. Hi,

    Here's my problem.
I have a DVD containing one VOB data file (VTS_01_1.VOB) and of course all the auxilliary files.
What I want to do is edit this file and burn it on a new DVD.
DVD Decrypter sais it is not encrypted.
So I copied it on the HDD and changed the extension to mpg, in order to be able to edit it with Tmpeg DVD Author.
Now here comes the wierd part:

This mpg file is not played properly by Tmpeg DVD Author, nor by Windows Media PLayer, or Nero Vision or AdobePremiere (it appears like a 15 second movie, while its real lenght is about 10 minutes and only a few frames can be seen).

HOWEVER, Media Player Classic can play it without any kind of problem!!!

But I need it to be played by Tmpeg Author, in order to crop it and burn it as a new VOB.

So what in the world should I do in this situation? Has anybody had similar experience..?

Did you try use the "add dvd-video" and select the folder with the vob files in tda first? Because you shouldn't just import vob files and just rename to mpg wont help.
