    Is there such a thing as a USB capable DVD player that can play high resolution divx, say 720p? My phillips dvp5960 cant, even if it has hdmi out, its annoying

    Most current players can't playback SD files over USB without throughput issues, I doubt they will figure it out any time soon to provide decent HD support.
