    hi i am having trouble adding subtitles to my .avi movie when i play the movie i have found that if i pause the movie the subtitles will show up but once i start playing it again they dissapear.

    can anyone help??

    I would try use vsfilter instead of mpc builtin decoder.

    But just rent/buy daywatch on dvd and you wont get any subtitle problem.
