Is there any freeware out there that will enable me to burn mp3 audio files onto a DVD? I need to compile an evening of music for an anniversary party and would like to cut down on the number of disks I have to burn. If no freeware, any suggestions on software?
    Thanks.

Imgburn in Build Mode. Assuming you just want to burn the MP3s as MP3 files, this is just a data disc.

Will mp3 files on a DVD play in a standalone player (or most of them)?

I haven't had a problem playing them from DVD, but it varies. Some older players will only play from CD, and most have some restrictions on number of files per folder, number of folders etc. Only your manual can tell you what yours will do.

As long as the songs play, that's all I'm looking for. I'll give Imgburn a try, I have an Oppo DVD player.
