    Hello All!!!
I'm a newbie to the forum and I would like to know which type of device will allow me to use my Laptop as a screen for my PS2 slimline. I purchased a USB instant VideoCD device on Ebay and although the capture area is reallly small, it does work. Next problem is that there is no sound. I get excellent little playing area but a bit dark and no sound. I know there is a way to achieve this I am just not sure exactly which device to use. I don't have a whole lot of resources right now so I'm kind trying to find an inexpensive means and nothing too cumbersome either. Something like a little connector type deal if at all possible!

I'm not sure exactly what your "USB instant VideoCD" device is, but most capture hardware has inputs for audio and video. So you should have the video and audio of the PS2 connected to your capture device. The capture software, should have a step by step setup process which should include setting up and testing the audio.
