I have recently read about this tool and havent used it, however i read that it is good at converting formats etc. I am wondering how can i program around this tool? I do not know any of the command lines for this application.

Does anyone have a guide on using FFMPEG with VB programming?

There are a ton of ffmpeg guis already out there. To see the latest one Click here.

To get the command line paramaters open a dos box, change directory to the one that holds your ffmpeg.exe, then execute ffmpeg.exe. The command line options will then show up.

Look for one of the "Sam's Teach Yourself VisualBasic in 21 days" books for help with programing.

And more importantly, do not be fooled by Microsoft's propaganda about
their Java-based altered beast (a.k.a. dotNET framework).

Yes, I really know very well the reasons why I do not
like things that do not work as they should. But oh well,
I don't like Acrobat 6 and higher, therefore I hate Adobe,
right? I don't like Apache 2.x.x, so I hate Apache Foundation,
correct? I don't like iTunes, ergo I hate Steve Jobs, OK?
"OF COURSE!", because to stick ready-made labels on the others
is much easier than admitting that you are wrong/you have been
fooled/you keep fooling yourself/you bootlick Microsoft.
