    Anyone know how to cut FMP4 (assume this stands for "Film Maker Pro")? Virtualdub will not do it.

    Try installing FFDShow, then configuring the VFW codecs so that virtualdub can read the file. One post I found said that fmp4 is ffmpeg4 format.

    ffdshow video encoder configuration (ffdshow VfW) > Decoder > Codecs > turn-on Other MPEG4
    FMP4 is default FourCC of FFmpeg.
    Or... change FourCC to DIVX, XVID or DX50.
