how to play PAL Ntsc PS3 in USA

i hav a PAL system PS3

i am yet to buy a TV
i wanted to go for an LCD monitor and play PS3 via hdmi to dvi converter

but will the PAL thing affect me

how can i play ps3 on a lcd tv ( budget 300$) on good resolution (not cable tv resolution)

You probably won't be able to use it to play NTSC DVDs or BluRay discs, or use it on a NTSC only display.

Some LCD TVs but NOT all sold in the USA support PAL resolutions. I have a Samsung LCD TV and it does NOT. You will have to do some research to find out what brands will support PAL. Many if not most LCD TVs sold in the USA will not support PAL at all. At the price range you are looking it, it may be impossible to find a TV that will work.

You could search online for "multistandard TV" and buy something that will work but whatever you find this way won't be in your price range. In Europe, most TVs sold support PAL and NTSC, but in North America, it is almost impossible to find something that will support PAL. Again, a few LCD HDTVs have been reported to support 576i here in the USA, but I don't remember which models.
