    Anybody have instructions how to get rid of the Region 2 block on this HDD recorder/player?
    Seen a post where you must use a pc with a Infrared port, which I don't have. Anyone knows how to crack this via it's remote?

    Help will be greatly appreciated.

    I suppose what you are really asking is for a region free code? Most Sony units are locked and not hackable via remote code. Extra hardware is usually required (as you already read) for the few models that can be altered.
