How do I gat a Panasonic VDR-D100 DVD Camcorder to work on a mac.

Your Camcorder

Since it uses USB, it might be compatible with the new
iMovie 08, bundled with iLife 08. ($80)

But don't quote me on that, or take it as gospel.
Macs prefer FW based camcorders as a default,
so you may be SOL as far as direct connectivity.

The discs it records to should be able to be finalized
in camera though, and then these could be
have their data extracted using MPEGStreamclip
(with QT Mpeg-2 addon, $20).

But I don't believe at this time there is a simple
1-2 method of using this camcorder with a Mac.

The mini dvd will not go into my macbook.

I'm not sure I have the answer. Take a look at my personal file on the VDR-D100. It has all my documentation on the Panasonic camcorder.
