If I do DV captures via firewire with a Pyro, is field order something I ever have to worry about? Or can I safely assume that anything I capture will ALWAYS use the same order? Oh, and if so... what IS the official field order? Odd first/on top, Even last/on bottom?
It's something that's been nagging me for the past few days, because I still remember the mistake I made back in my early "rip to SVCD" days circa 2001 when I got the field order backwards and didn't realize it until after I'd tied up my computer for almost a week rendering it and burned it to 4 CDs (it was ultimately unwatchable due to the stuttering cadence).

BFF for DV, If I remember correctly.
And generally, you don't 'capture' DV, just transfer it from a device or tape, so it should always be correct.
