Thread: Avid xpress pro

    i am trying to get avid xpress pro running.
    but when i start it it gives me errors
    Exception: failed to initialize audio hardware
    I currently have Realtek ALC882D with drivers of version 5.10.

    Go to the Avid site and look at the hardware specifications. Avid is very choosy about the hardware it will run on. I suspect it will not run on the on-board Realtek audio, and you will have to buy a compliant audio card.
