  1. I am buying a new dell computer and I am buying avid xpress pro. On avid's web site they list the graphic cards NVIDIA QuadroFX as compatable with the avid. But dell's web site they only list the graphic cards nVidia GeForce 8600. Will I still be able to run avid express pro on my dell with a nvidia geforce graphic's card.

    Thank you

That is a question to ask of your Avid reseller. Avid systems are pretty picky about the hardware they will run on.

Most of the time the Video card limitation is to being able to do full screen full frame playback.

You didn't list the specific model and video card, so i can't get you any specific links, but you can search their forums for an answer
