  1. Im having problem converting my mkv files to divx, coz everytime i convert it, it becomes pixelized or blocky but from the original video you barely see the pixels, im using alltoavi by the way.

    all i want is convert the mkv's to divx so i can play it on my standalone player, without loosing its video and audio quality from the original.

    Increase the video bitrate. But you will always lose some quality when you reconvert.

  3. Or forget bitrate and set Divx to 1-pass quality based encoding. Try setting the quantizer (1/quality) to 2 or 3.
