Sony RDR HX 725 Region Code Hack question

Hello, A newb question here: I followed the hack instructions perfectly and the player reacted the way it was described in the hack instructions exactly except for the fact that it STILL won't play other region dvds! Any advice at all will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Quite often new versions of a player are locked to prevent the codes from working. You also need to ensure you are using the correct codes, sometimes players from different regions use different codes.

Most Sony and JVC units are often locked and don't use codes at all.
