putting NTSC on mini DV in HD mode

Hello,
I was asked to provide a mini DV NTSC for a festival. My project is in PAL and my camera "throws" only PAL into mini DV.The only way I found so far (with another camera) is to "throw" my film chosing HD NTSC mode on the camera that will do the DV IN transfer to the miniDV.
Question: will be this miniDV like a normal NTSC miniDV? In other words, the reader/projector of the festival, (which they told me can't read true HD formats) will be able to read this kind of "false" HD NTSC format on the miniDV?
