    i tried the hack to make the player region free. i have a pal region 2 dvd and it didnt work with the hack. the image kept being static, bouncing up and down. but i did hear the audio.

    is there a way to fix that?

    I have that recorder. When you play a PAL DVD, it displays the PAL but only with 525 lines. i.e., the remaining 100 lines are off the bottom of the screen. I can't remember if I applied a hack or not.
