  1. I have 2 one hour episodes. one was recorded at a higher frame rate per second and larger image. so when I recorded both onto a dvd, the smaller one, the pixels are really boxey. is there anyway to convert it to match the other episode that looks normal?

How about you start with some details ?

What are the originals like - resolution, framerate etc ?
What are the new ones like ?

G-spot screenshots would be a good start.

  3. the good quality episode is 29 framerate. the bad boxey looking one is 15. dont know where to look for the resolution. I threw them both into convertxtodvd. the 29 looks good. the other gets boxey like when you record in 8hour mode on a standalone dvd recorder.

The first rule of video : Garbage In, Garbage Out. 15 fps, over compressed garbage is always going to look like garbage. Find a better source, or accept that it will always look like this.
