    No need for VDubMod then unless you want to encode to avi since you can add the subs with AVISynth. Original post isn't really clear on source/destination formats though.

    I don't want to convert to avi because when convert it lose quality.
    Maybe another guide?

    You can't hardsub without re-encoding.

    I'm having the same problem here.

    I'd like to watch my MP4 files on a XBox 360, which don't have the option to select subtitles manually, so I guess I must hardsub...

    So if I can't do it without re-encoding, then how should I do it? And would I loose quality?

    I got my MP4 video files and my subtitles files (srt ssa asx...), all I need is the tool to merge them together.

    Sorry for the second post.

    Anyway it's been almost a month i'm trying to do that. Maybe I sound like a idiot but I can't seem to find a way with virtualdubmod or avisynth. I'm lost in those software, can you help me out a little?
