Try this one. It's a beta of the 'new look'. http://beta.videohelp.com/ Just a static test page for now.

Baldrick may be making 'adjustments' to cause the main page odd effect.

Does it always look like that for you? Or was it just once?

  5. A couple of days ago the forum popped a cork. All it would show is something along the lines of "phpBB error. Can't find config settings". Maybe Noahtuck's observation is somehow linked.

I had that same phpBB message as JohnnyMalaria so I used the "Contact us" button to send a copy of the message to the site admin since I couldn't get in the forums at the time. Things look normal for me I don't get any doubling but just now, when I wanted to post it took a long time for the panel to open. I didn't time it but it looked like about 45 seconds. I'm on Highspeed so my pages rarely take that long unless there's a site issue.

Added after edit as a test:
My comments posted quickly when I hit the submit button and when I reopened for edit and it reopened quickly so things look normal. Wonder why it took so long to open the first time?

Just at the time i posted the photo.

It only lasted about 3-4 minutes then it went back to normal.

I hit refresh, went into OT , came back out and it was still like that, then after a few refreshes it went back to normal.

Seemed kind of weird being right on the heel's of those other problems/posts.

And it was just the right side/forum posts that were showing up double.

I just rebooted my system after being up quite a while and Videohelp is my home page so as soon as I open ie6 the main page comes up. So Ok this just happened to me after the reboot and it never happened before

Most threads on the front page are showing twice. I loaded another instance of ie and it's ok with no duplicates.

Did we ever find the cause?

It happens a few times when two posts exact same time.

    I feared the worst.

Glad to hear it's that simple.
