I am putting together a DVD which also has some content that is launched with an autorun.inf when loaded into a PC. The DVD content will run when the disc is inserted into a player. Naturally the autorun content will be usable only on a PC. My question is; does Windows give precedence to an autorun.inf over the DVD autorun? I need for the disc to autorun the content dependably every time rather than play the DVD content.

Yes, precedence is given to autorun if it exists. This assumes the PC is configured to detect the media when inserted. Many users turn this feature off for security or other reasons.
